Reversing the Curse

We are all taught the importance of the work of the cross of Calvary.  We all understand that Christ died on the cross so that we could have a right to the tree of life, that we could be reconciled to the Father.  But I want us to know that there is much more power in the Blood of Jesus than we may know or recognize.  It could be that because of our life long teachings we have not gotten a true understanding to the magnificent impact of the power of the blood of Jesus.

We have been taught that Jesus went to the cross to save mankind from sin but there is a lot more to it than that. Right here we are going to learn just what really happened that day thousand years ago that is still impacting our lives today.  We are going to learn about the seven places Christ shed his blood prior to being hung on that old rugged cross and the significance of each place.

The first place Christ shed his blood was in the Garden of Gethsemane; Here He won back and revered the curse on our will power. Luke 22:42  Adam in the Garden was weak and hd no will power to fight off the enemy and had symbolically declared his own will above God's will in disobeying God's word. Now Jesus puts God's will above His own. In effect storing man's will power to defeat the enemy.

The second place  Jesus shed His blodd was at the whipping post here He reversed the curse on our health Isaiah 53:3 It was the custom to receive 40 lashes but Jesus received only 39 symbolic of the 39 major disease categories of man.

The third place Jesus shed His blood was when the crown of thorns were place on His head. here he reversed the curse of poverty. Genesis 3:17 now the curse was removed off of the ground and now men could once again prosper in the land the Lord had given them.

The fourth place Jesus shed blood was when they pierced His hands  This reversed the curse of lost dominion.  Here our dominion was restored over the things we touched.

The fifth place Jesus shed His blood  was when they pierced his feet. This removed the curse of lost dominon of wehre we walk upon the earth. Deuteronomy 11:24

The Sixth place Jesus shed his blood was when he was pierced in the side and blood and water ran out this is an indication that his heart had been stabbed this reversed the curse of lost joy His heart was broken that we may have joy.

And last but absolutely not least the seventh place Jesus shed his blood was in his bruising (bleeding under the skin) this reversed the curse of inner hurts and iniquitis. Isaiah 53:5

There is much more to the crucifixion than just Jesus dying for our sins He also reversed every curse that was laid on man due to the fall in the Garden of Eden.  Now we know that Satan has no power over us and we have the power and authority to defeat our enemy. Praise God
